The department has the following academies which impart professional level training leading to certifications:

Facilities

The Department is having 3 full fledged laboratories with a total number of 250 systems. More than 80% of the systems are Core2Duo systems and the remaining are Pentium IV. Students are allotted the systems in the ratio 1:1

The labs are powered by two online UPS of 15 KVA and 40 KVA capacity. The back-up time is 2 hours with full load.

The department has an Audio-Visual room which can accomodate 100 students. A separate library caters to the needs of the computer science students.

ASSOCIATION

The Department has an association named 'SACT' (Student Association of Computer Technology). This association imparts the knowledge about the current trends of the IT industry. The activities of the association are:

MCA Laboratory

The MCA lab is equipped with 60 numbers of Core2Duo systems. 40 of them have LCD monitors. The PCs have 160 GB HDD and upto 2 GB of RAM.

UG Laboratory

The UG lab is equipped with 30 numbers of Core2Duo and 30 numbers of P-IV systems. Most of the PCs have 160 GB HDD and upto 2 GB of RAM.

Allied and BPO Laboratory

The allied and BPO lab is equipped with 120 numbers of P-IV systems. Most of the PCs have 160 GB HDD and upto 2 GB of RAM. The BPO systems are equipped with high-end earphones and mic.
